Domestic-assembled, NDAA-compliant FPV platforms engineered for the modern battlefield — ISR, kinetic payload delivery, and operator training, at a price the DoD can act on.
We are two veterans — National Guard and Army Reserve — who build and fly unmanned systems professionally for the Department of Defense. We started Vanthal because we saw the gap firsthand: the red air threat is evolving faster than the acquisition system that's supposed to answer it. So we built the answer ourselves.
Every platform we deliver is built from verified NDAA-compliant components, assembled domestically, and validated against the kind of real-world threat profiles most vendors never see from the inside.
Footage captured during active adversarial UAS operations against U.S. Army defense systems.
Every component sourced through verified domestic channels. BlueUAS-listed electronics throughout. Built to be attritable, not irreplaceable.
Vanthal Technologies is two soldiers who never stopped flying. We don't pitch what we haven't built and we don't propose what we haven't flown.
U.S. Army Reserve soldier and credentialed Counter Intelligence professional. Currently working as an RPV Specialist building and flying adversarial UAS platforms for the Department of Defense. His CI background adds a dimension most drone vendors can't offer: a working understanding of adversarial collection and the intelligence environment these platforms operate in.
Special Forces veteran, West Virginia Army National Guard. Currently deployed as an RPV Specialist building and flying adversarial UAS platforms for the Department of Defense. Combat deployments across EUCOM and CENTCOM. Six years designing and integrating custom ISR and SIGINT collection platforms for government and SOCOM customers prior to his current role.
